Meshell Ndegeocello, the iconoclastic, inimitable American musician regarded as one of the greatest bass guitarists alive and the godmother of theNeo-Soul movement, has been named as a special guest professor at Bootsy’s Funk University, the trailblazing online bass guitar academy masterminded and ordained by funk pioneer Bootsy Collins at www.thefunkuniversity.com. Ndegeocello is the latest in a string of high-profile bassists Bootsy has handpicked to impart to F.U. students the inner workings of their musicianship and artistry. Les ClaypoolVictor Wooten,Divinity RoxxJohn B.
