Spectrasonics posted new offerings in its online Artist Video Series with 3 videos featuring Larry Mitchell and Tony James performing together creating original music. In these videos, Grammy-winning Producer/Guitarist Larry Mitchell showcases the possibilities of triggering Spectrasonics’ Trilian virtual bass instrument from his MIDI guitar. Drummer Tony James jams live with Larry to create the three original tunes. Mitchell adds rhythm and lead guitar as well. Also for viewing is a fourth ‘Behind the Scenes’ video showing how the session was done.

The Spectrasonics Artist Video Series captures live recording session performances and behind the scenes segements with unique glimpses of the the musical work in progress. The Larry Mitchell-Tony James sessions were recorded at Glenwood Place Studios in Burbank, CA by engineer Hal Sacks and Mixed and Mastered by Eric Persing. Previous postings in the Artist Video Series feature George Duke & Greg Phillinganes, Lyle Mays, Chris Vrenna, and Josh Gabriel. More Artist Videos in the series are set to be released in 2010.
