Jazz Improvisation With Andrea Fascetti: Master Your Fingerboard Part XIV

Meet Andrea Fascetti –

HI MY FRIENDS!

TODAY ENDS A LONG RUN THAT BEGAN IN NOVEMBER 2008 WITH CHORD TONES EXERCISES. I HOPE YOU LIKED THESE EXTENSIVE LESSONS ON THE FINGERBOARD USING CHORD TONES IN AN UNCONVENTIONAL WAY.

LIKE I SAID IN PREVIOUS MONTHS, I KNOW THAT IT’S EXTREMELY HARD WORK AND I NOTICED THAT EVEN SOME OF MY BEST STUDENTS STOPPED PLAYING FOR A PERIOD WHEN I TAUGHT THESE EXERCISES FOR THE FIRST TIME.

I WANT YOU TO REMEMBER THAT WE WORKED OVER ELEVEN TYPES OF CHORDS, AND I HOPE YOU PRACTICED THIS STUFF. IF SO, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

BEFORE GOING FURTHER IT’S TIME TO REWIEW ALL CHORDS, BECAUSE THE NEW STUFF WE WILL PRACTICE WILL BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! WE’LL USE NEW TECNIQUES THAT ARE VERY HARD TO PRACTICE IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE CHORDS VERY WELL.

NOW IT’S TIME FOR THE LAST HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT ABOUT THIS GROUP OF LESSONS:

1) REVIEW ALL LESSONS!
2) REMEMBER: SING ALONG WITH EVERYTHING YOU PLAY. YOU DON’T NEED TO BE A SINGER TO DO GOOD WORK, JUST SING AND YOUR MUSICAL EAR WILL STRONGLY IMPROVE.

YOU CAN FIND MY PAST LESSONS BY CLICKING HERE IN BASS MUSICIAN MAGAZINE. FIRST LESSON IS IN NOVEMBER 2008 ISSUE. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS,TAKE A LOOK TO MY WEBSITE.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE EXERCISES

SEE YOU NEXT LESSON

ANDREA
