The team at Ashdown Engineering are happy to introduce their latest recruit, David Bell as Marketing & Artist Relations Executive. David has been brought in to drive the marketing and PR behind Ashdown’s bass amp range, Hayden’s guitar amp series and of course, their latest venture into the headphone market with Meters.
David isn’t new to the industry, having gained over 4 years experience from a young age at The Bass Centre, London, and then a further 4.5 years at DV247 in his hometown of Romford. During his time at DV, David worked with the guitars division, maintaining the online representation of guitar products via means of SEO, product based PR and publishing.
Post DV, David spent a couple of years working outside of the music industry, so he’s extremely excited to jump back in – and with a company he feels so passionately about. “I have always been a huge fan of Ashdown as a company and a brand and I’m privileged to be joining Mark, Dan, Lee and the team. I have a lot of respect for these guys.”, said David. He gets off to a rather busy start, joining the rest of his Ashdown colleagues at NAMM 2016 in California this month.
“We weren’t advertising the role, but after a post on my Facebook page saying we were looking to expand our Artist Relations and Marketing department, I was encouraged by a number of old friends from the Bass Centre to speak with David and the rest just fell into place. We are taking David to the NAMM show to introduce him to many of you personally.” said Ashdown MD, Mark Gooday. “We are looking forward to seeing what David brings to the table, with a fresh approach to our relationships with the press and expanding our online presence”.
