I started using Rotosound strings when they first came out.Went straight from Flats to Roto roundwounds.Entwhistle Jaco everyone was playing them back in the late 60’s earliy 70’s.Strings have changed a lot since then.I went back to a set after not using then for over 25 years and found out that there were many other strings i like better. Its all personal.I use Dr they last me a good few months playing 6 nights +- 5hrs a day.All my basses are strung with different strings.Sadowsky has good deals on strings too.
