Super Prime Premieres Vow Music Video on MTV Buzzworthy with Bassist Austin Bond

Super Prime Premieres Vow Music Video on MTV Buzzworthy with Bassist Austin Bond… Pop punk trio Super Prime has premiered their highly anticipated music video for “Vow” on MTV Buzzworthy today. The band is currently on tour with Set Your Goals, Cartel, Mixtapes and Fireworks in support of their debut full-length album, #FML, which was released on March 20th, 2012. Next month, the band will hit the UK on tour with We Are The In Crowd. Watch the official music video for “Vow” on MTV Buzzworthy here and purchase #FML on iTunes here.

When asked about the video, Super Prime singer, Adam Newall, responded, “Being the day of the shoot was Friday the 13th, it would have seemed that the planets were aligned against us, but we came in kicking like Van Damme,” bassist, Austin Bond, continued, “We’re very hands on and luckily we had an awesome director (Christian Winters) who worked with us to create our vision.” Drummer, Marcus James, chimed in, “Yeah! He gave us the ability to move the sun! Those lights were awesome!” The trio is ecstatic over the “Vow” premiere on MTV Buzzworthy.

Borrowing from the very best elements of early pop punk and nineties angsty emo rock, Super Prime illustrates the epitome of this generations pop-punk genre. Quick and catchy guitar riffs woven between hard-driving drums lay the perfect foundation for the Billie Joe Armstrong-eque singing and the gang-vocal inducing lyrics. Their live show explodes out of the basement and onto the pavement, drenched in beer and humming with a sweaty intensity that leaves fans spinning yet smiling.

Formed at the musical haven of Berklee College of Music, Super Prime consists of Austin Bond (vocals, bass), Adam Newall (vocals, guitar), and Marcus James (drums). The band fiercely stepped out into the Boston rock scene in the spring of 2011, mere moments after their inception. In under a year they recorded and released two successful EPs, “Super Prime”and “Sun’s Out Gun’s Out,” with renowned Boston producer- Brian Charles (Bright Eyes, The Faint), and have shared the stage with Marky Ramone of The Ramones, Hawthorne Heights, Streetlight Manifesto, The Dollyrots, Cartel, Set Your Goals, Hit The Lights, Mixtapes, Fireworks, Patent Pending, Big Reel Fish and many others.

With the success of their debut album and their first UK tour up ahead, Super Prime shows no signs of slowing down any time soon!
