Beatle Bass: Will Lee To Honor Paul McCartney’s 70th Birthday In June… Whoever thought the Beatles’ “When I’m Sixty-Four” would one day become a song about nostalgia for Paul McCartney? Believe it or not, Sir Paul turns 70 this June, and Will Lee and his “Fab Faux” Beatles tribute band are going to honor McCartney’s big day with two shows at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. The band says that the performances, which take place on June 15 and 16th, will “feature a 70th birthday (suit) salute to Paul McCartney”. Although we’re not sure exactly what that means (we do hope they keep their clothes on), it should be noted that the shows are a charity benefit for the PS3 Charrette Elementary School, with partial proceeds going to help fund the school’s arts and music programs.
