Yes bassist Chris Squire teams with Genesis’ Steve Hackett: What do you get when you cross prog-rock icons Chris Squire of Yes and guitarist Steve Hackett of Genesis? Well… Squackett, for one. And that is indeed the band name the two have come up with for their debut album, Life Within A Day, which is to be released on June 5th. Squire, who has been busy with the many reincarnations of Yes (their latest personnel change is new lead vocalist Jon Davison in for Benoît David), says that he and Hackett plan to hit the road in England this fall to promote their album, and leave open the possibility for a wider tour. Before that happens however, Squire and Yes will kick off a 26-date North American tour on July 13.
