Tone Showcase Hits Nashville with EMG Pickups, Ampeg and Dunlop

Tone Showcase hits Nashville with EMG Pickups, Ampeg and Dunlop…  EMG pickups, Ampeg, and Dunlop rolled into Nashville during CMT fan fest week to hold a two day (June 5th and 6th) product showcases at the well known rehearsal and tour support facility Soundcheck. Some 300 dealers, artists, and technicians from in and around Nashville attended and had one-on-one time with artist relations personal and product specialists from each of the companies.  Products such as Ampeg’s Heritage SVT, Dunlop’s Bass Deluxe Fuzz, and new unreleased EMG pickups along with a host of guitar amps and effects were all being demonstrated and tested by attendees.  “The music industry has changed drastically in the last decade, and it’s crucial to adapt and change with it.  To that end, carefully cultivated partnerships with select, quality brands, help to create a more focused and ‘hands on’ alternative to the typical tradeshow model.  Working with both EMG and Dunlop was an absolute delight and relationships we intend to grow.” commented Scott “Stu” Patterson, A/R Manager for Ampeg / Mackie. With the success of the Nashville showcase all three companies are in discussions on bringing the showcase to other cities in the near future. Dunlop’s’ Bryan Kehoe summed up the two day showcase with this statement; “Dunlop was very fortunate to be involved with such a fantastic event, and to partner up with EMG and Ampeg was a great pleasure. Reaching out on a grass roots level to the professional players and dealers in and about the Nashville area, in this manner, is definitely the way of the future. Face to face, people to people, the real social networking!”
