De Profundis’ Twisted Landscapes Music Video Released Featuring Fretless Bassist Arran McSporran…  U.K. progressive black/death metallers De Profundis have released their first music video for the track ‘Twisted Landscapes’. The song comes off the band’s third album ‘The Emptiness Within’, which was released by Kolony Records in May 2012. The video was filmed in London and Peterborough, U.K. under the watchful eye of director Phil Berridge of Creative Junkie Media (ABORTED, CEREBRAL BORE).

De Profundis are endorsed by Mayones basses and Rotosound strings. The album features Arran McSporran playing his Custom Mayones Caledonius fretless 6-string bass and Rotosound strings on every track. There is an interview with Arran McSporran and some of his playing concepts in Bass Musician Magazine.
De Profundis’ third album ‘The Emptiness Within’, was released in May 2012 via Kolony Records. The CD was once again produced by Fernando Pereira Lopes (MISANTHROPE, ORAKLE) and De Profundis and was mixed at the Studios Davout (AC/DC, THE ROLLING STONES, OZZY OSBOURNE) in Paris, France. The cover artwork was created by the renowned artist Costin Chioreanu (Twilight13media), who has previously worked with ULVER. De Profundis will be on tour in Europe in September and October 2012, supporting Marduk and Immolation.
