Led Zeppelin Reunion On Big Screen And DVD: Titled Celebration Day, Led Zeppelin’s historic 2007 reunion concert at London’s O2 Arena will finally be released to the public, and in a big way. The one-off show that brought together Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham (filling his Dad’s big shoes) is going to be shown theatrically on October 17th in 1,500 theaters, followed by audio and video releases of the concert on November 19th.

For Zep bassist John Paul Jones, the event is only one of several goings-on that will fill his calendar this fall. Jones will be joining the Norwegian group Supersilent for a brief European tour in mid-November, and on December 2 he rejoins his old mates Plant and Page for a special night in Washington DC where Led Zeppelin will be one of the honorees of the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors.
