Describe The Way You Play Bass:

I am a rock influenced bass player, peppered with some heavy metal influences as well.

What Made Me Decide to Play Bass: 

I’ve always been Intrigued by the drum and bass section in all types of music. I believe the rhythm section is the second most important part to a solid rock band aside from the vocalist.

Musical Influences:

Glass jaw, Refused, Korn, Limp bizkit, The Deftones, Nine Inch Nails,  Gojira, Foo fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Blindside, Muse, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Incubus, Blink 182, Green day, NOFX, Slayer and so much more!

Favorite Musical Styles: 

Rock, Heavy Metal, Dark wave, Nu Disco, Industrial, Drum & bass and of course Pop.

My Amps and Other Gear: 

I Use an Avid Eleven rack running through a power amp into a 6×10 ampeg cab. I also use a tube screamer, sansamp and a volume pedal. It’s a very minimal rig, but there’s no reason to over complicate Rock’n Roll!

One Piece Of Advice For Other Bassists: 

Find a good drummer, practice as much as possible and don’t smoke meth!

Most Amazing Gig so Far: 

There were a few shows on our headlining tour that were definitely in my book, the most amazing gigs thus far in our career.

Dream Gig:

Having a sold out arena tour.

Most Embarrassing Moment on Stage: 

Our old singer was black-out-drunk, falling off the stage, not even being able to sing. Then when we were supposed to do an encore, he just stayed on stage ranting about god knows what. The crowd was so confused they were just silent.

What Would You Be Doing If You Weren’t A Musician:

I can’t even imagine that to be honest. But if I had to, I’d probably be a tattoo artist living in Utah the rest of my life.

The Question No One Ever Asks Me, But I Have Been Dying to Share: 

I’ve cried while watching “The Notebook” three times.
