I am the Executive Director of Music and Arts USA, a not for profit whose mission is to bring music programs into our public schools free of charge.Our website is:www.musicandartsusa.orgThe Benefit page:www.facebook.com/Benefit/December20The Fan page:The Twitter site:We our holding our first fundraiser in NYC on Dec 20th, at78 Below380 Columbus Ave8:30-2:00 AMFor this event, we will be partnering with the American Red Cross and donating a portion of our proceeds to help with the cost of Hurricane Sandy.Rex Brown (Pantera, Down, Kill Devil Hill) Bobby Rondinelli (Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Quiet Riot) Alex Skolnick (Testament, Alex Skolnick Trio) Steve Augeri (Journey, Tyketto) and a growing roster of musicians and sponsors, who in conjunction with Music and Arts USA and School of Hard Knocks (David Gross, Jamey Staub, Zak Gross) will be performing for one night to raise funds and awareness for music programs in public schools because of budget cuts. These musicians are flying in for this special night to perform.Riley Goldstein, a talented young singer/songwriter and “I Space Walk Sometimes”, a incredible young band will be performing early in the evening.Ronin Guitars will be donating a custom made electric guitar that will be signed by all of the performers and then be put up for auction. www.roninguitars.com/Freddie Matera, a custom leather smith and artist will be design a guitar strap to be auctioned off as well. freddiematara.com/ In addition a Ken Bebensee custom six string fretless bass will also be up for bid.
