Trampled Under Foot’s New CD Badlands Featuring Bassist Danielle Schnebelen… Trampled Under Foot (TUF) are bringing bar-band blues to a new generation. Influenced by garage rock, soul, and funk, as much as by Delta blues, its vocalist/bassist Danielle Schnebelen’s powerhouse delivery defines the sound of the group. Backed by the meaty riffs of guitarist/vocalist Nick Schnebelen and drummer Kris Schnebelen, this sibling band has been on the road non-stop honing their skills and growing their rabid fan base.

TUF spring from the rich Kansas City music scene and are one of today’s most talked about blues bands. Their early fans followed them from Kansas City to Memphis in 2008 where they won the Blues Foundation’s coveted International Blues Challenge. Nick also won the Albert King award for Best Guitarist that year.

They make their Telarc debut July 9, 2013 with Badlands. The CD was produced by Tony Braunagel (Taj Mahal, Eric Burdon, Jim Belushi) and features legendary keyboardist Mike Finnigan (Jimi Hendrix, Bonnie Raitt, Etta James).

There’s a long history of standout family bands and Trampled Under Foot are poised to become the next great one.
