Chicago Bassist Tim Seisser and his Band T.S.5 Announce Debut Album “One For All”
Chicago Bassist Tim Seisser and his band T.S.5 are excited to announce their debut studio album release, “One For All”. The album was recorded live in one day without overdubs or edits at The Alley Recording Studio in Valparaiso, IN with Engineer Marc Nelson. It was mastered at the award-winning Mastering Lab in Los Angeles, CA by Eric Boulanger.
T.S.5 is the creation of Chicago Bassist/Composer Tim Seisser. The Chicago based band was started with the purpose of combining the feel good grooves of classic and contemporary R&B and funk music with the freedom and artistic expression of improvised jazz. This is not your usual funk/jam band, nor is it a heady, contemporary jazz group. The members of T.S.5 come from all different performing backgrounds and the emphasis with this group is to shed the typical genre categorization and simply make music that sounds good and makes you want to get up and groove. Their sound has been described as honest, inspirational and funky. Members of T.S.5 have performed with bands and musicians from all across the musical spectrum including Hey Champ, Lupe Fiasco, Nick Colionne, Liquid Soul, Matthew Santos, Danilo Perez, Howard Levy, Fareed Haque, Eliot Mason, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra and many more. T.S.5 has performed at many notable Chicagoland and Midwest venues
including The Taste of Chicago, Martyr’s, The Green Mill, The Whistler, Reggie’s (opening for the great Victor Wooten Band), The Little Apple Jazz Festival and Cliff Bell’s Jazz Club in Detroit. T.S.5 is Tim Seisser on Bass Guitar, Jonathan Marks on Drums, Matt Nelson on Keyboards, Rich Moore on Saxophone and Luke Malewicz on Trombone.
