Victor Bailey Joins the Markbass Family

Victor Bailey has joined the Markbass roster of endorsing artists.

Since the late seventies,as a teenager,Victor Bailey has been recognized as one of the world’s greatest bass players.

He’s been hailed in New York Times as “a bass player with gold plated credentials”.

Victor gained international recognition in the nineteen eighties as a member of jazz fusion supergroup Weather Report.

He has made some of the most highly acclaimed and biggest selling solo records ever by any bassist, as a studio musician he has appeared on over one thousand records as bassist, keyboardist, vocalist, composer and producer.

Victor Bailey has toured and recorded with artists as diverse as Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter, Michael Brecker, Mary J. Blige, LL Cool J,  Lady Gaga and Madonna.

He is also a prolific composer, producer and bandleader. His “Victor Bailey Group” and “Victor Bailey V-Bop!” band are both constantly in demand all over the world, and he keeps a non-stop touring and recording schedule.

Victor is currently riding high on the phenomenal success of his latest CD , “Slippin” N’ Trippin”.
