DPA Microphones, the manufacturer of high-level reference and headset microphones, is giving away three d:vote™ 4099 Instrument Microphones at the 2014 NAMM Show (Booth 7119). Show attendees are invited to stop by the DPA Booth Thursday, January 22, Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24 to enter the contest. Applicants will receive a signature DPA Microphones pin to indicate their submission. DPA will select and announce the winner at 4 p.m. on each of those three days. Attendees must be present and wearing the pin to win the microphone.

Despite its tiny, discreet size and lightweight design, the DPA d:vote is rugged and stable, featuring a versatile and extendable gooseneck, sturdy shock mount and a detachable cable, making it perfectly suited to the rigors of touring and live performance. Intended for fast-paced performance settings, users can easily unclip, reposition or move it to another instrument with just one hand. The d:vote’s microphone mounting system itself is designed to be extremely gentle, never marring the finish of an instrument.

The d:vote’s condenser mic features a supercardioid polar pattern for highly uniform off-axis frequency response and superior gain before feedback. Capable of handling high sound pressure levels, these microphones live up to DPA’s pedigree of breathtaking clarity and richness. Additionally, the d:vote’s MicroDot-XLR connector and variety of adapters ensure compatibility with virtually any wireless system. The product can also be used as a standard 48V phantom-powered microphone via its supplied XLR connector.
