RapScallions Release New CD, In My Head, Featuring Bassist Chris Clemence

RapScallions recently released their new record “In My Head” (produced by Wendy Starland who discovered and developed Lady Gaga) which has garnered over 1,300,000 hits on YouTube in only a months time.

The song is currently in rotation on 65 Clear Channel radio stations nationwide via iHeart Radio and was selected as featured “Music You Should Know” for the month of June (see link below).

The release of the record was sponsored by Budweiser and social networking site Fameus, and was announced on 106.7 KROQ in LA. The band has endorsement deals with: Etnies clothing line, Gallien Krueger amps, Pearl Drums, Paiste cymbals, Evans drum heads, Pro Mark sticks, Warwick basses, D’Addario strings, and Planet Waves cables.

The new record will be featured in Rockband 3 on Xbox this Winter 2013. Additionally, the song “Phoenix Rising” will be the theme song to new network show “Peace By Piece” airing late 2014. The band rose to international awareness from their last single “California Brain” featured in Ubisoft’s “Rocksmith” on Xbox and Playstation 3.

The RapScallions have international touring experience and have shared the stage with Chris Cornell, Red Jump Suit Apparatus, Mike Posner, Fishbone, English Beat and Wu Tang Clan. They have performed at venues such as Mandalay Events Center, LA Convention Center, Detroit Speedway etc. to crowds of 10,000+.
