Warwick’s BassCamp in cooperation with Gitarre&Bass is entering its third year – and never before has the event sold out as quickly as this time!
The 80 spots for bassists from all over the world were filled within weeks after applications opened, and bass enthusiasts will be traveling from as far as Japan and Australia to be part of the fun.
BassCamp promises a week-long adventure, filled with workshops, jams, and close encounters with some of the world’s most renowned bassists: Lee Sklar, John B. Williams, Andy Irvine, Stuart Hamm, Lars Lehmann, Jonas Hellborg, Regi Wooten, Steve Bailey, Helmut Hattler, Wolfgang Schmid, Alphonso Johnson, Adam Nitti, Garry Willis, Armand Sabal-Lecco, Kevin Brandino and David Ellefson – as well as drummer Chester Thompson – will all be teaching BassCamp attendants their tips and tricks, chat about their musician life and get on stage to jam their hearts out.
The event will be taking place from the 1st to the 6th of September, 2014, at the Framus & Warwick Headquarters in Markneukirchen, Germany – and with less than 6 months to go, things here at Framus & Warwick are kicking into gear.
Limited spots for journalists interested in covering BassCamp are available!
