Aguilar Donates Adam Clayton 360 Tour Bass Rigs
AGUILAR AMPLIFICATION DONATES ADAM CLAYTON BASS RIG FROM ‘U2 360’ TOUR TO BENEFIT MUSIC RISING
“Aguilar Amplification was very proud to be involved in U2’s record-breaking ‘360 Tour’”, says Aguilar President Dave Boonshoft. “While we loved having two of Adam Clayton’s bass rigs from that tour here at Aguilar HQ, we thought that when the time was right, we would donate them to the charity of our choice. The time has come and we are happy to announce that this gear will be auctioned on Saturday, May 17th through Julien’s Auctions to benefit Music Rising.”
The gear includes two DB 750 heads (which have been autographed by Adam), two DB 410 cabinets and two DB 115 cabinets. These are being auctioned as separate lots – not complete rigs.
The ‘Music Icons, Legends and Rebels’ auction will take place on May 17th and feature a jaw-dropping array of memorabilia from The Beatles, Michael Jackson and U2. The U2-related items can be found on pages 220, 221 and 222 of the online catalog.
