Mike Watt and Il Sogno del Marinaio News

This August 26, Mike Watt  will release the sophomore effort from Il Sogno del Marinaio (the sailor’s dream).

The trio features Italian guitarist Stefano Pilia and drummer Andrea Belfi, along with America’s Mike Watt on thunderbroom. The new album is titled canto secondo and comes out on Watt’s Clenchedwrench Imprint. Il Sogno del Marinaio will support canto secondo  with an extensive North American tour that starts mid September and ends November 1. The album was recorded December 2013 in Bologna over the  course of eight days at Vacuum Studio, recorded by Bruno Germano.
