A New Look for the Always Legendary Spector
A New Look for the Always Legendary Spector…
Brooklyn native Stuart Spector famously designed his first instrument in 1976, beginning a revolution that would change the music world forever. In the years that followed, Spector Basses have been used to hold down the low-end on the world’s biggest stages. Now, nearly 40 years later, Spector is proud to introduce the latest additions to the Spector lineup including two new Bass models, several new finishes to their Legend line, and extended pickup options. To celebrate the new releases, Spector is giving away four free Metallic Red Performer 4 basses via www.spectorbass.com.
In addition to the expanded line, Spector is also delivering new energy to the iconic brand including a new website with detailed product descriptions and images, updated social media sites with more engaging artist content and contests. The new bass models born from Spector’s CodaBass Pro line are the CodaP 4 Pro and the CodaPJ 4 Pro.
The CodaP 4 Pro is a fresh take on an iconic design. Inspired by one of the most influential electric basses ever, the CodaP 4 combines a classic American aesthetic with the modern tone and playability that Spector is known for. Just like its handcrafted counterpart, the CodaP 4 is well-equipped for a variety of playing styles and features a solid alder body with a stunning figured maple top and comes equipped with a pickguard, a newly designed Spector split-coil pickup and Spector exclusive TonePump Jr circuit.
The CodaPJ 4 Pro was designed with working bassists in mind and offers an incredible palette of both classic & modern tones. Adorned with a sleek and stunning high gloss black finish, the CodaPJ 4 Pro offers the best of iconic American design and features custom-wound Spector pickups. The perfectly contoured CodaP style body is combined with a sleek & fast Coda style neck for unrivaled comfort and playability. The CodaPJ 4 Pro also features the all-new Spector designed single & split-coil pickups constructed with Alnico magnets and the exclusive TonePump Jr circuit for a stunning variety of incredible bass tone.
“Spector Basses have established a passionate and loyal following that spans the globe. With unmatched feel, tone, and craftsmanship, Spector remains committed to crafting high-quality basses for players of all levels and styles that are truly built for a lifetime,” stated Stuart Spector, President of Spector Instruments.
