Brubaker Musical Instruments is proud to announce it’s first ever signature instrument. The KXB-Extreme II Skeet is named after our #1 endorsee Rodney ‘Skeet’ Curtis of Maceo Parker/Parliament/Funkadelic fame. Skeet has been a part of Team Brubaker for many years. Over the course of the last 2 years Skeet has worked closely with Kevin Brubaker to create an instrument that would provide a voice for his unique playing style. Skeet has toured extensively with the instrument. Many refinements have been made (including a completely new neck) and now we finally have the consummate KXB-Skeet model ready to offer to the world.

The KXB-Extreme II Skeet features a Buckeye Burl Maple top over Ash body with a matching Burl fingerboard. Bartolini Jazz Bass pickups/4.6 3 band Active Preamp and Hipshot Gold/Black hardware are utilized to bring the extraordinary tone to life. The result is an instrument that sounds as stunning as it looks!
