Starting February 2016 the Warwick Masterbuilt Basses will now be equipped with a new onboard preamp that is designed to work with virtually any pickup or combination of pickups, including a dedicated piezo input. This preamp offers a high headroom and low noise floor combined with the powerful and flexible EQ section delivering your desired tonal shaping possibilities.

1: The new preamp system is offered in a 2 way or 3 way active circuit.

2: With the flick of a switch this can be turned into a “passive” circuit. New with this preamp: When in passive mode, the treble pot is transformed into a traditional “tone” knob.

3: There are 2 options for powering the new circuit. It comes standard with a built in mini USB charger. This can be charged with the supplied USB PSU or from any standard USB charger such as that from your cell phone or computer.

The second option is to run it from a standard 9 volt battery if this is your preference. There is a dedicated wire with battery connector supplied for this purpose.
