On April 21, 2016 US pop star Prince died unexpectedly at the age of 57 years. Among his biggest hits were ‘Purple Rain’, ‘Kiss’ and ‘When Doves Cry’. Prince was a great pop icon, dazzling, brilliant and totally unique. We bow before him and will certainly never forget him. We will miss his inspiration.
Prince was not only a pop icon, but also an excellent multi-instrumentalist. He owned and played several Warwick basses, including an Alien acoustic bass and special Thumb NT 4 models. Prince loved these extravagant instruments, they fit well with his extravagant appearance.
Rest in peace, Prince.
