Ibanez GIO Basses Add Finishes For Summer

Ibanez GIO Basses Add Finishes For Summer

PR – GIO, the estimable Ibanez value-line bass series, adds two new models for mid-2016P: The GSR200SDL, a Soda Blue 4-string, and the GSR205DVM Deep Violet Metallic 5-string.

Patterned on the company’s famous SR, the Ibanez GSR GIO offers the same alternative approach to electric bass that all SR basses do. Light in weight, heavy in tone, with a fast, thin neck that many players have found is capable of fulfilling needs even beyond the beginning stages.

Each features a solid Mahogany body, and a maple neck. A Rosewood fingerboard, accented with medium-size white dot inlays, round out the visuals.

Factor in Ibanez Dynamix P and J pickups for clarity and fullness well beyond their price point, and the Phat II eq for ultra wide tonal range and how GIO basses have become the first step in thousands of musical journeys.
