Too Cool! Don ‘Nuge’ Nguyen on Creativity and Love for the Bass

In celebration of the new Fender Deluxe Series, they linked up with professional skateboarder Don “Nuge” Nguyen to talk about his love for playing bass… and features his new Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass.

Filmed by legendary photographer, Atiba Jefferson, the intimate shoot follows “The Nuge” as he cruises the streets of L.A. in his vintage Trans Am, prepares for a show with his band Arctic and showcases him playing his Fender Deluxe J Bass. “Life without bass would be like black-and-white TV, without color…” said The Nuge. “What I love about music is the exact same reason why I love skateboarding, is because there is no rules.”
