The Revolution is credited on three Prince albums, Purple Rain, Around the World In a Day and Parade. As NPR’s Michel Martin notes fans still in mourning “..and those paying tribute often return to one monumental work: “Purple Rain” The album and the film won three grammys and an Oscar, influenced countless musicians and made Prince a superstar. A critical ingredient in that success though, was his band, The Revolution..known for their big sound, tight discipline, and above all CHEMISTRY…” A testament to the power of their Chemistry is the band’s decision to reunite and tour after three decades.
