Willcox Guitars Updates Saber VL Line

Usually when a company says they’ve updated their current product line, the results are mixed. Many will lament the fact that the product in question was great from the beginning, and many will say that the improvements aren’t enough.

Not the case with Willcox Guitars. As a proud endorsing artist and visitor to the Carpinteria, CA office, I’ve learned firsthand how committed Chris and the rest of the Willcox family is to updating their products to ensure the best user experience. Released in October, the new crop of Saber VL basses sport a number of upgrades that were a result of countless hours of conversation with artists, dealers, etc.. I was lucky enough to receive a “version 2.0” of the Saber VL Fretless and talk about the upgrades.
