Aguilar Amplification, maker of high-quality amplifiers, speaker cabinets, pickups and effects pedals for bassists is pleased to announce the addition of Fishbone bassist Norwood Fisher to their family of endorsing artists.
Norwood is using the DB 751 head and two DB 810 speaker cabinets on tour with Fishbone and the AG 700 with the SL 410x and two SL 112 cabinets for gigs and recording sessions in LA.
Anchoring Fishbone’s ‘sonic stew’ since its inception in 1979, Norwood Fisher is known for his driving and unique bass style which fuses ska, punk rock, funk and heavy rock. It is this style that has helped propel many of the band’s albums, including The Reality Of My Surroundings and Truth And Soul, to classic status.
Of his Aguilar gear, Fisher enthuses: “I am in total awe of the power and sonic abilities I’m able to achieve with Aguilar Amplification!!! Aguilar brings another level of joy to add to my playtime follies!!!”
Fishbone’s “OG Lineup” is currently playing shows on the west coast including this weekend’s Back to the Beach Festival in Huntington Beach, CA.
