Ashdown PRO FX – New Dedicated Bass Effects Pedal Range

Ashdown PRO FX – New Dedicated Bass Effects Pedal Range

If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that the guys at Ashdown understand what great tone sounds like, as they have a long heritage in building instrument amplification for some of the world’s biggest names. Bands like The Foo Fighters, Bastille, Black Sabbath and Biffy Clyro each rely on the quality of sound that Ashdown have never failed to deliver.

“Whilst we offer high-quality and versatile instrument amplification, we also use the same level of skill and determination when it comes to designing the best bass effects,” says Mark Gooday, MD at Ashdown Engineering. “We’ve spent months and even years designing custom effects units with a number of legendary musicians, purely because they trust us to deliver a great sound”.

New for 2019, Ashdown’s new PRO FX range consists 5 advanced, attractive and addictive ways to shape your bass sound. The ‘Triple Shot’, ‘Macchiato Comp’ (Guy Pratt Signature), ‘Studio Comp’, ‘Velvet Comp’ and ‘Type 23’.

New Pedals. New Design. Uniquely Ashdown.

The Ashdown PRO FX range of pedals are manufactured in the UK using selected components from the best manufacturers in their respective fields. All of the effects are designed to be powered from a linear isolated 18V supply to ensure the best signal to noise ratio and lowest possible background noise, this is essential with high gain distortion pedals and floor up compressors.

All pedals in the range are constructed with robust Steel housings with Anodised front fascias. Genuine Neutrik Jack sockets are used throughout. The pedals are finished in a sleek colour palette with the main centrepiece on each pedal being the sapphire-coloured illuminated LED that lights-up Ashdown’s famous double-winged logo when the pedal is engaged.
