Newbasstone, Inc., a small manufacturer of musical electronic accessories, announced it is shipping an upgraded version of its Nitewalker Bass Guitar Tube Preamp. The new model, called REV. 2, offers bass guitar amplifier enhancements for spectacular presentations. The upgraded Nitewalker Bass Guitar Tube Preamp is targeted at studios and entertainers.

“Our customers can produce crisp productions in rich, vibrant sound at an affordable price,” said Newbasstone president Cliff Latshaw. The new preamps feature a revised AC heater supply consisting of a circuit containing 600-volt polypropylene capacitors, which allows the preamp to be turned up to maximum volume with minimal tube hum.

Founded in 2006, Newbassstone has been struggling to convince leading capacitor manufacturers to mass-produce the paper in oil type needed in the signal circuit. Hampered with new compliance regulations this upgrade is the second major revision to Nitewalker Bass Guitar Tube Preamps. The first was to meet the standards, and the upgrade is an improvement on that design.
