EXHIBITION
We are very happy that more than 500 exhibitors and brands from all over the world have confirmed their attendance and will provide a complete market overview with a huge variety of products on the four floors of the Rosengarten. You will find everything that makes the hearts of guitar and bass fans beat faster – from extraordinary creations of fine custom builders to innovative sound tools of small manufacturers to classics and novelties of legendary brands. Everything to look at, touch and try out!
In order to avoid hearing loss and to create a more relaxed atmosphere, we have designed the exhibition as a “silent show”. This means that testing and demonstrating the musical instruments on display is only permitted via headphones. If you do want to get your pants legs flapping, you can turn the amps up to 11 in the acoustically separated test area of Amp World with competent advice.

PANEL DISCUSSION: GENDER GAP IM MUSIC BUSINESS
Music is as diverse as the people who create it. In fact, however, this diversity is rarely represented in festival lineups or key positions in the music business. Women have also been under-represented at Guitar Summit in recent years. In the future, we would therefore like to offer more women not only a platform, but this year also a forum in which mechanisms and structural problems can be identified and constructive approaches discussed as to how the male-dominated industry can be made more diverse. The event will start with a keynote speech by Angela Kahl entitled “Women in the music business – facts and figures“.
The panel GENDER GAP IN MUSIC BUSINESS is presented by I’M SOUND in cooperation with MUSIC WOMEN* BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG.
Participants:
- Angela Kahl (MUSIC WOMAN)
- Chrissie Hoss (Head of Sales Guitar Summit)
- Anna Thienes (Jazz Gitarristin)
- Salomé Gregersen (Production Manager/ Guitar Builder at SANDBERG GUITARS)
Presentation: Janina Klabes (I’M SOUND)
CONCERTS
At the “Friday & Saturday Night in Concert” shows, a number of artists who were performing on the workshop and masterclass stages during the day will come together again in the Mozartsaal for another great performance. This year, the focus on both concert evenings will be equally on acoustic and electric guitar and bass. So you can look forward to acoustic acts as well as blues, rock, jazz and metal artists. And who knows what exciting constellations of artists will emerge? Only one thing is clear: this will be unforgettable!

FRIDAY NIGHT IN CONCERT
Friday night will start off with an acoustic performance by the winner of the Warsaw Fingerstyle Festival 2020 Daniel Peszko, whose arrangements are inspired by classical music, pop, rock and soul.
Next up is Janek Pentz. The young fingerstylist’s music is influenced by both hard rock music and soft classical music.
Inspired by Tommy Emanuel and Andy McKee, Casper Esmann draws an impressive harmonic variety and expressiveness on his 6-string.
Where others need a full band, fingerstylist Mike Dawes only needs his acoustic guitar, with which he can replace pretty much any instrument.
After that, the amps will be turned on and you will see how Chris Buck, refines the bluesy-soulful Alternative Rock of his band Cardinal Black with breathtaking licks and solos.
Take a little acoustic break for fingerstyle master Jon Gomm and fusion legato champion Tom Quayle as they fuse Acoustic Fingerstyle and Jazz.
Following this very unique crossover, the Martin Miller Session Bandperforms rock and pop classics of the last 30 years at the highest musical level. Besides the regular line-up with
Martin Miller (guitar & vocals), Marius Leicht (keyboards), Benni Jud (bass & vocals), Felix Lehrmann (drums), Nico Schliemann (guitar) and Michal Skulski (saxophone) you can look forward to other illustrious guest musicians!
SATURDAY NIGHT IN CONCERT
Saturday starts again with acoustic sounds: Multi-instrumentalist Micha? Obrebski, winner of the Warsaw Fingerstyle Festival 2021, surprises with asymmetrical rhythms and unexpected harmonies.
Award-winning classical and fingerstyle guitarist Billy Watman takes you on a rousing, genre-bending journey through music history during his live performance.
Sophie Chassée shines with virtuosic filigree Modern Fingerstyle à la Andy McKee or Ben Howard and her unique, gentle voice.
When Jon Gomm works his acoustic guitar with all possible and impossible playing techniques and sings his songs with closed eyes, a very unique sound world emerges.
Afterward, Henrik Freischlader will give you a lesson in blues rock, once again setting the venue on fire with his band!
Finally, the Guitar Summit All-Star Band, headed by Thomas Blug, will once again set off a blaze of rock fireworks! While the guitar section is made up of greats such as Jeff Loomis, Pete Thorn, Henrik Freischlader, Nick Johnston, Sarah Longfield, Chris Buck, Kfir Ochaion, Henrik Danhageand Marcus Deml, the exceptional bass artists Kinga Glyk, Henrik Linder, Julia Hofer provide an impressive bass fundament with funky-jazzy grooves and rocking bass lines. Goosebumps guaranteed! And there are also some magical moments dedicated to the legendary Randy Rhoads. Don’t miss this show!
