I had the opportunity to interview Shinedown bassist Eric Bass back in May 2018. Well, as you can imagine, a whole lot has been going on in the world since then and this hard-hitting Rock band is speaking out for all of us with their new album “Planet Zero”, released in July of this year. This concept album inspired the band to lay down twenty tracks addressing the serious issues that the world faces.

While Eric does a superb job laying down the bass foundation for Shinedown’s repertoire, he is also involved in the producing, mixing and co-engineering. In fact, Planet Zero was recorded in a home studio that he built himself!

Join me as we get caught up after a whirlwind three years and get the lowdown on the new album and all the very exciting things to come.
