New Gear: Ashdown RM-110 Cabinet…

Ashdown is excited to announce a NEW addition to the Ashdown Rootmaster EVO II range of cabinets. Our smallest enclosure is designed for bass players on the move.

Weighing in at just 10.9kg Ashdown Rootmaster EVO II 110 delivers a punchy 250 watts at 8 ohms through its single Ashdown 10” speaker designed to deliver exceptional attack, clarity, and low-end performance whilst standing out from the crowd with its distinctive high-quality finish, coupled with a dramatic reduction in weight.

We have been paring the RM-110 with an ORIGINAL-300 HD1 and it sounds great with enough power for most gigs and then when running with our pedal board amp the ANT it did not disappoint. Bass that cuts through in all the places, when paired with one of our NEW Saint Soap basses each note sang out with a piano style quality. Then when playing with a classic Jazz bass we found ourselves smiling and at the same time wondering how something so small could sound so loud!

Tonally, the compact design maintains the low-end response with a more dynamic punchy mid-range. The cab is front ported and voiced to be heard in a live setting, the mid-range is so important to a bass players ability to cut through the mix.

The Rootmaster EVO II cabinets are carefully constructed from lightweight ply to cut down on weight without risk to the signature Ashdown sound. Weight-saving construction is paired with mindful design features such as a top-mounted handle for ease of transport and easy stacking and genuine Neutrik Jack/Speakon combi jacks.

Lastly the cabinet is finished in Buffalo Tolex a black cloth grill for a durable finish that truly stands out from the crowd.
