What do you get when you bring together eight (yeah, I only see seven on the cover too) amazing Bass musicians? You get one very cool DVD! If you add in some guest players like legendary drummer Peter Erskine, John Beasley and Michael Tobias and you are really cooking.

Let me list the players involved with this serious project (In no particular order):

Andrew Gouche
Janek Gwizdala
Damian Erskine
Robert “Bubby” Lewis
Justin Raines
Jon Reshard
Dywane Thomas
Hadrien Feraud

Special props are in order to Gerald Forrest for Directing and producing this masterpiece.

One particularly timely piece is the Tribute to Michael Jackson. I could describe it but it is better if you hear for yourself:

This DVD serves up over 3 hours of Fusion blended with Gospel and includes solos, duets, shed sessions, lessons, and interviews. There are such a variety of styles, chops, and different voices that there is something for everyone.

My friends and I just sat in silence and listened with our mouths open… No description I could offer will truly do this DVD justice. You will just have to experience it for your self (Did I mention that it can be played in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound?).

Let me tell you. If you play bass or are a bass enthusiast, this is one for your collection.
