Argentinean pianist Emilio Solla has really brought forth an astounding mix of Argentinean folk music, jazz with a world flair here. Classically trained in Buenos Aires with a jazz sensibility honed all over the globe with world class musicians, Emilio has really opened my ears to a new sound here. I’m completely floored by this band and his compositions and strongly suggest you treat yourself to this masterpiece! This is an album I will be turning people onto for some time to come.
