BMM and Kenny G’s own Vail Johnson has released his tribute to the Beatles with an instrumental album of The Beatles timeless music. While nobody can do it better than the original, I don’t believe that was the point of this recording. The band is top notch and Vail’s tone is striking and refined. While this is essentially The “G Band” in full effect, Vail is very much the focus here and he sounds as wonderful as ever. If you want to hear a killer bass player playing some of your favorite Beatles compositions? This is a sure bet!
