Raul Amador April 14, 2013 at 1:47 pm Thanks for your feedback Mr Twirk. As with any bass, you have to like the way it feels to want to play that particular instrument. Once you get past the “Bouncy” feel of the strings, The U-Bass can be quite functuonal. and kind of fun… Just check out any of the latest U-bass vids we brought back from NAMM. https://bassmusicianmagazine.com/2013/03/kala-presents-bakithi-kumalo-and-james-hill-playing-billie-jean/ https://bassmusicianmagazine.com/2013/03/kala-presents-bakithi-kumalo-and-james-hill/ The whole concept of a Smaller, lighter bass is one that many companies are exploring, Here is another example… MICRO BASS (Jazz & Elephant) DEMO for Bass Musician Magazine https://bassmusicianmagazine.com/2013/03/micro-bass-jazz-elephant-demo-for-bass-musician-magazine/ Thanks for your interest and reading Bass Musician Magazine!
