Warwick LWA 1000 Bass Head Review
The Warwick LWA 1000 bass head is an undisputed, classic appearance meets modern technology, 1000 watt powerhouse.
Complete with two channel inputs with each having it’s own controls including gain, mute, bass, low mid, high mid, treble, and compressor control. Both the mute and compressor can be switched on or off with a toggle switch. There is one master switch which controls the overall volume.
While there are two inputs, you don’t need to have an instrument connected to each one to use both. If you want to switch between both channels, for instance, you have a tone you prefer for finger style and a different tone for slap style, the included foot pedal will allow you to switch between channels without moving your cable from input to input. This would also be a good way to mute your bass as you could leave one channel on mute and just use the foot pedal to switch between the muted and unmuted channel. The connecting cable for the footswitch is included with the LWA 1000.
I used the LWA 1000 on a couple gigs and could very easily make this my go-to amp. Nice clean bass tones with no distortion coming from the amp itself.
