Bass Lines: Famous Bass Intros – Part X – Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy”.

Hello bass players and fans of bass playing! This is the “Famous Bass Intro” of the month. This is a classic!

Pearl Jam – Jeremy (from their 1992 album, Ten)

This is one of their Top Hits on the Billboard. The video was awarded with four MTV Video Music Awards, including “Best Video of the Year.” The song and video was included in the Rolling Stones Magazine as one of “The 100 Greatest Pop Songs Since the Beatles” and in “The 100 Top Music Videos.” The video was a controversy on MTV and is one of the “100 Greatest Videos Ever Made.” It was also included on VH1’s countdown of the “100 Greatest Songs of the ’90s” and in the “100 Best Songs of the Past 25 Years.” The uncut version of the video is currently on the video site Vimeo, as of January 30, 2015. In March 2009, “Jeremy” was made available as downloadable content for the Rock Band series as a master track as part of the album Ten.
