Australian rockers Valhalla Lights have released their second video “Lights Out” today, taken from their debut album “Krypton”. Lyrically the track seems to be a foreboding warning of what was to come, with singer Phoebe Black tragically taking her own life just days after recording the vocals; “Imagine I’m a fish…won’t you throw me a line”… What happens to a fish that gets thrown a line?

In  the music video, Bassist, Brent Crysell, is playing the 1969 Fender Jazz Bass (Lake placid blue with matching headstock) that was previously owned by Lenny Kravitz and was the guitar used for the album “Are you gonna go my way”.

A documentary about the making of the album “Shades Of Black – The Valhalla Lights Story” has had over 1000 views on the bands YouTube Channel since its release last month, and the half hour film has been accepted by several short film festivals.

Having found a kindred spirit in new vocalist Ange Saul, Valhalla Lights have new music in the works and live shows coming up to celebrate the release of “Krypton” and “Lights Out”, including a recent announcement on the lineup of the Mazstock Festival in Lismore and a blistering Brisbane show on Queens Birthday eve at the New Globe in Brisbane.
