This is a classic in the latin music… “Los Van Van’s Sandunguera”!
The Famous Bass Intro for this month is based on Los Van Van’s biggest hit of the 1980s, better known as “La sandunguera.” This song is one the most popular songs from their career. Is a songo in a 2:3 Clave. The song was written by bassist Juan Formell. He is one of the most important figures in contemporary Cuban music. Formell died last year.
