Bass Lines: Danza for Bass – “Recordando a mi Padre” 4th Movement

Published

Hello bass players and fans of bass playing!

This is it! The 4th Movement of this innovative masterpiece! Personally, this is my favorite movement of the whole Danza for Bass. It is a great pleasure for me to share with you this transcription for the bass part. It’s challenging and very musical too. Remember! The composition is not a traditional danza, as it has jazz influences on it. So, grab your bass and let’s PLAY!

“Recordando a mi Padre,” is an innovative and pioneering dance in its class, where the bass is the main instrument that interprets the melody in its entirety. This masterful piece of music is rich in musicality and virtuosity.

Music by Luciano Quiñones.
