Project Grand Slam (PGS) is an acclaimed Jazz Rock Fusion band with a twist of Classic Rock and Latin based in New York City and led by bassist/composer Robert Miller.

PGS has five celebrated albums to their credit, has played numerous U.S. and international music festivals, and has opened for legends including Edgar Winter, Blues Traveler, YES, Boney James, Mindi Abair and Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots). They routinely perform at many major concert venues.

PGS is known as a great live band.

Just ask John Popper of Grammy award winner Blues Traveler or Grammy nominated saxophonist Mindi Abair, both of whom have praised PGS’s performances as “amazing”. Or Dave Davies of The Kinks, who praised the band’s unique cover of their classic “You Really Got Me”. When a band receives unsolicited emails from concertgoers saying things like “Your performance blew our socks off!”, you know that you have something special. Led by acclaimed bassist/composer Robert Miller, PGS is about to release their 6th album, Trippin’.

Robert wrote and arranged all ten original tracks on the album and continued his tradition of “reimagining” a great Classic Rock song, by recording The Who’s iconic “I Can’t Explain” in PGS’s inimitable style. The new album has received spectacular advance reviews from two of the most respected music writers/reviewers. Jonathan Widran calls Trippin’ a “truly amazing album”, while Keith “MuzikMan” Hannaleck has given the album 5 stars, his highest accolade.

PGS has won over every audience they’ve appeared before, from rock, hard rock, jam band, and jazz to smooth jazz fans.
