Mike Claiborne Releases New EP

Nashville, TN, June 28, 2018 – Bassist Mike Claiborne’s latest EP titled MC3 released this week featuring six new original compositions.

The bassist’s third solo release, MC3 is stylistically more jazz-funk rooted than 2017’s eclectic 15/16 and reveals substantial artistic growth for Claiborne as a composer, arranger, and producer.

Still the DIY artist, Mike performed or programmed nearly all the instrumentation on MC3 and designed the retro-jazz inspired artwork. His K. Butler MC33 signature bass, having been completed near the end of the tracking sessions, was used for the solo on the single Funky Love.

MC3 is currently available on CD through MikeClaiborne.com and distributed through CD Baby, with downloads and streaming available through all the major platforms.
