The importance of learning different chords as a bass player is more important than we may think.  When trying to learn songs from your favorite artist or playing in a band or with other musicians knowing the setup and sound of chords is vital! You don’t want to walk into a gig and not know what a D7 is or an E5 chord. It’s always better to learn outside of the bass box than not at all.

One of these vital chords to learn are the 7th chords.
