The Ibanez SR505E features an Okoume body, 5-piece Jatoba/Walnut neck, and a Jatoba fingerboard. It also includes several upgrades for improved playability and tone. The B505 bridge allows for easy adjustments to string spacing (+/- 1.5mm) while the Bartolini® BH2 humbuckers deliver a balanced, warm response with a tight low-end and a full-spectrum midrange. Another upgrade is to the preamp, which now includes an EQ bypass and a passive tone control (passive mode only). The SR’s fast neck, lightweight body, and ergonomic design, combined with these upgrades, represents an adaptable instrument that suits a wide range of players and styles.
