Leland Sklar News – The Immediate Family Gets Back in the Studio

The Immediate Family, featuring Danny Kortchmar, Waddy Wachtel, Russ Kunkel, Leland Sklar & Steve Postell, Gets Back in the Studio.

On the heels of successful tour dates in Japan, The Immediate Family, featuring Danny Kortchmar (guitar and vocals), Waddy Wachtel (guitar and vocals), Leland Sklar (bass), Russ Kunkel (drums) and Steve Postell (guitar and vocals), is back in the studio working on the follow-up to the acclaimed LP Honey Don’t Leave L.A. 

The as-yet-unnamed album will feature newly composed material from Kortchmar, Wachtel, and Postell.  Additionally, in October the band will head to the east coast for a three-night residency at the Iridium in NYC, October 25-27.  

The Immediate Family brings together some of the most recorded, respected and sought-after players in modern music. Their work can be heard on albums from Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Stevie Nicks, Keith Richards, Warren Zevon and many, many more.
