Ferdinando Romano Releases “Totem”

Double bass player and bandleader Ferdinando Romano has just released his new project, “Totem,” featuring trumpet star Ralph Alessi.

Best described as somewhere between ECM sounds, post-bop and contemporary music, “Totem” is a journey through his artistic world, which has one foot in jazz and one in classical. One thing that ties it all together: a great attention to the importance of melody.

The album is distributed in digital CD and vinyl format worldwide by Losen Records.
